Track orders

The Orders section of your dashboard shows activity from new purchases, renewals, reactivations, refunds, and gift orders. By reviewing this data, you can spot trends, measure campaign performance, and better understand the revenue flowing into your membership business. In this help article, we’ll walk through each Orders chart, what it tracks, and how to use the data to learn more about your members’ behavior.

Where to find order data

Go to Revenue → Orders to open the Orders overview page. The overview shows charts for:

• All Orders
• New Orders
• Renewals
• Reactivations
• Gifts
• Refunds

Charts default to the last 30 days and you can adjust the date range or reporting frequency using the date picker.

How order data updates

Order charts refresh in two ways:

• Daily historical update: Yesterday’s data is added once per day at 00:00 UTC (7PM EST / 4PM PST).
• Same-day updates: Today’s data refreshes throughout the day, but only when you open an individual chart page.

The overview page shows the most recently stored data and does not trigger a refresh.

Filtering and viewing options

Switch between Count and Revenue to change how your chart data is displayed. Hover over any point in a chart to see the exact total for that date. Use the date picker to select a preset or custom date range. When viewing larger ranges, you may see an additional dropdown that allows you to segment the chart by Day, Week, or Month. The date range may also round to the beginning or end of a week or month, depending on your selection. Revenue displayed in Orders charts reflects gross revenue, before discounts or transaction fees. To filter data by plan, open any individual chart and click Add plan to filter. You can add up to eight plans to compare on the chart.

Order types

All Orders

The All Orders chart tracks total revenue or total count over your selected period. This includes:

• New orders
• Renewals
• Reactivations (even if on a different plan)
• Upgrades
• Additional seats for group subscriptions
• Standalone purchases
• External payments

Below each chart, you’ll find a table showing totals for each day. You can also open the list of members whose orders contributed to that total and export the data. This chart shows gross revenue, which is used to calculate Net Revenue. Learn more about Net Revenue.

New Orders

The New Orders chart tracks all first-time purchases, including:

• Plan purchases
• Gift purchases
• Trial starts

Free trials increase the count, but only paid trials contribute to revenue. You can see the revenue generated from all orders, including recurring and one-time payments. Learn more about Net Revenue.

Renewals

The Renewals chart tracks recurring subscription renewals, including trials that convert into active subscriptions. Subscriptions renew based on the exact time they started. For example, a monthly subscription that began on June 8 at 7:56 AM (UTC) will renew after it reaches July 8 at 7:56 AM (UTC). Renewals are processed in batches, so a subscription might not renew at the exact renewal time, but it should update shortly thereafter.

Reactivations

The Reactivations chart tracks recurring subscriptions that were previously expired or canceled, including upgrades into a new plan.

Gifts

The Gifts chart tracks the count or revenue from gift purchases over your selected date range.

Refunds

The Refunds chart tracks all processed refunds. Refunds reduce your overall revenue and impact churn. Learn more about Churn.

When order data updates

• Most order data appears within a few minutes of processing.
• Historical data (yesterday) finalizes at 00:00 UTC.
• If your selected date range includes today, the chart will refresh on demand when opened and continue updating every few minutes.
