Use posts to send free previews of your paid content

If you’re publishing exclusive content for paid members, it’s a great idea to give your free members a sneak peek to encourage them to subscribe. To help with this, we've introduced a new feature that lets you email previews of Memberful posts specifically aimed at your paid subscribers.

Send free previews of paid content

If you create a post that's targeted to paid members, and email delivery is selected, you'll see a new option to send a preview to members without access to the associated plan(s) — whether active, inactive, or free.

When this option is selected, a paywalled version of the post will be emailed to members without access.

The preview email contains the post excerpt and a paywall. Here's what we show if you have Memberful's subscription page enabled:

Access a member’s post email history

Alongside the free preview update, you can now access a log of emailed posts sent to each member making it easier than ever to deliver top-notch customer support.
