Your website and account settings control the name and URLs members use to interact with your business. Changes to these settings can affect Memberful emails, member website pages, shared links, integrations, and private podcast feeds. In this help article, we’ll explain how to update your website name, account URL subdomain, and external website URL.

Change your website name

Go to WebsiteGeneral settings. Enter your new website name in Website name, then save your changes. Changing your website name affects:
  • the From name in emails Memberful sends on your behalf
  • all member website pages if you haven’t uploaded a logo

Change your account URL subdomain

Go to WebsiteGeneral settings. Enter a new subdomain in Account URL, then save your changes.
Changing your account URL affects:
Update links that use your account URL anywhere you’ve shared them. Private podcast subscribers must resubscribe to their feeds after the URL changes.
If you use the Memberful WordPress plugin, disconnect and reconnect the plugin after changing your account URL to refresh links added through the plugin, including shortcode links. You can also set up a custom domain to use your own domain name instead of a Memberful subdomain.

Change your external website URL

This setting is available only for non-WordPress sites. Go to WebsiteRedirects. Enter your new URL in Your website, then save your changes. For WordPress sites, Memberful automatically populates the website URL when you install the Memberful WordPress plugin. You don’t need to update it manually.
