Add a link to buy a gift
Once you've created your plan, we'll provide you with a gift purchase link. You can insert the purchase link to your website or Memberful's in-house member site. Customers will use the link to purchase the subscription as a gift for someone else. Memberful handles the payment form, automatic renewals, and everything related to the membership.

Which plans are giftable?
Gift links are disabled for certain types of plans.

Sell gifts from on a non-WordPress website
From your Memberful dashboard, navigate to Revenue → All plans, and select a plan.
Copy the gift purchase link and use it with button options provided by your website builder.
Sell gifts from a WordPress site
From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to any post or a page and click the Memberful editor button in the WordPress editor.
Select the Buy Gift shortcode, and choose your plan from the dropdown list.
Type your link text and click OK.
You can also copy the gift purchase link and use it with button options provided by your theme as described in the previous section. If your theme doesn’t have a button builder, install a plugin like MaxButtons.
Sell gifts from Memberful's in-house member site
You can create a customized subscription page hosted by Memberful. On that page, there is a section for additional content. Within that page, you can add a link to purchase a gift. You can copy the gift purchase link from the Memberful dashboard as described in the previous section.

Alternatively, you can create a dedicated page to promote gift subscriptions on your member site. Pages allow you to add a banner, and banners can have a title, a subheading, a button, and a background image. You can add a link to purchase a gift in the button.
