Use webhooks with Zapier
Create a Memberful Trigger for your Zap
Click the large Make a Zap button in your Zapier dashboard and for the Trigger step, choose Webhooks from the Built-in Apps section.
Choose the Catch Hook option and click Save + Continue.
For this basic Zap we'll skip the more advanced Pick off a Child Key setting and click Continue. You'll now be presented with a custom webhook URL. Copy this URL to your clipboard (ctrl/cmd + c).
Go to Settings → Integrate → Webhooks in your Memberful dashboard and click the Add a new webhook button. Enter a name and paste the webhook URL into the Endpoint URL field (ctrl/cmd + v).
Click the Send test webhooks button and send a test
member_signup webhook over to Zapier.
Go back to Zapier and click the blue OK, I did this button. Wait for Zapier to find the webhook and present you with the Test successful message. Then, click the View your hook link.
Now add a Filter so your Action is only triggered when Zapier receives the
member_signup webhook. Click the small + icon below the Catch Hook Trigger and then click the Filter button. Select Only continue if and click Save + Continue. You'll be presented with three inputs for configuring the Filter. Select Event for the first, (Text) Exactly matches for the second, and type
member_signup for the third. Click Continue and then click Test Filter. You'll be presented with a green success message.
You've succesfully configured the
member_signup Trigger in Zapier! Now link it with an Action from your third-party App.
See the creating a Zap documentation for more details on how Zapier Triggers work with Zapier Filters and Zapier Actions. Also be sure to look at the complete list of webhooks we send. These webhooks enable you to build powerful workflows with third-party services.
Useful Zapier Webhooks
Here are some useful webhooks you can use with Zapier to add, update, and remove your members from your favorite third-party App:
member_signup: Trigger an Action that adds a member to your App.
member_updated: Trigger an Action in your App when a member updates their profile information.
subscription.deactivated: Trigger an Action that removes an expired member from your App.
subscription.renewed: Trigger an Action that updates or re-adds a member to a list in your App when they renew their subscription.
